Local CEOs build houses for Memphis Habitat

A boardroom full of CEOs and senior executives from across Memphis were at a construction site in Downtown’s Uptown neighborhood, swinging hammers instead of running meetings.

The group of executives were putting in a shift for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, building 2-story houses on Second Street.

Like all Memphis Habitat homes, the homes built during the CEO Build event will be sold to local homebuyers through the nonprofit’s affordable mortgage program.
