The Grizzlies gave up a season-high 25 offensive rebounds and 21 second-chance points. Now they look to next season.

On Wednesday night in Game 5, Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. was the best player on the floor.

Strickland said he left the decision about whether to renovate the city-owned stadium or build a new one on the university campus to the university.

Steph Curry said the Warriors’ plan to close out the Grizzlies was to “Whoop That Trick.” Yeah, that was a mistake. The Grizzlies responded with one of the great whoopings in NBA playoff history.

The Warriors haven’t really looked like the better team. Not decisively, at least. And the Grizzlies shouldn’t consider a great Game 5 their last hurrah.

With 3:44 remaining in the third quarter, Jaren Jackson Jr. went to the scorer’s table and asked for “Whoop that Trick.” It was that kind of blowout for the Grizzlies in Game 5.

The Memphis Grizzlies will face the Golden State Warriors in Game 5, Round 2 of the NBA Playoff series tonight at 8:30 p.m.

Whatever happens, this has been a great Grizzlies season, one of only three in franchise history to include more than 50 wins in the regular season and also advancement in the playoffs.
