The AM/DM podcast: A visit to Hernando’s Hide-A-Way

Brand USA was established in 2010 to market the U.S. as a tourist destination. Think the Las Vegas strip, Mount Rushmore, the Smithsonian and even Whitehaven’s Hernando’s Hide-A-Way. 

Brand USA recently launched a new video series called American Originals, which highlights Broadway in New York City, Monument Valley in Arizona and Utah and — and this could disappoint some Memphians — Texas barbecue. 

But the series might redeem itself for that in the Bluff City, thanks to its look at rock ‘n’ roll, Memphis and Hernando’s Hide-A-Way. 

Joining us today is new business reporter Noah McLane, who took us to Whitehaven to talk about the historic bar.
